Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Technical Manager in the daily duties:
• To be responsible for the company’s labeling information and ensure that both label and nutrition information are perfectly in line with legal requirements of the target market.
• To assist the Technical Manager in the various business objectives to produce safe and legally compliant food.
• To assist in the developing, implementing and maintaining a Quality and Food Management system which complies with the relevant food safety standards and regulations.
• To ensure that all quality procedures and documentation are kept up to date while managing the quality records process.
• To assist in conducting internal audits and assist in the correction actions process when necessary.
• To be a member of the customer complaints committee, take minutes, take an active role in internal investigations, and follow-up of actions to be taken.
• To coordinate and conduct internal and external audits together with the Technical Manager to assess compliance with quality standards.
• To drive continuous improvement and instil initiatives to enhance product quality, manufacturing processes, and overall efficiency.
Skills and Specifications
This post calls for a qualified person in Management. Good communication and decision-making skills, diligent approach, and ability to lead effectively by example are important requisites for this post. Candidate is required to be conversant in English and be computer literate in Microsoft Office. S/He is required to be able to get results through people and capable of working within a Team. Training on Food Safety Culture will be provided by the company.
The selected candidate will be responsible from compiling data, analyzing reports whilst keeping good communication with superior. The candidate is to be computer literate.
Weekly working hours are of 15 hours which hours are to be worked in the afternoon ( 2.30pm/3.00pm – 5.00pm).
